Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 29 August 2026

Home›Accessibility

1. Our Commitment

Lloyds PR Solicitors is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people with visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive impairments. We are working towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA — the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility.

This statement describes what we have implemented so far, what is still in progress, and how to tell us about any accessibility problems you encounter.

2. How We Test This Website

  • Automated linting: every code change is checked against the eslint-plugin-jsx-a11y recommended ruleset, which flags common accessibility mistakes (missing labels, invalid ARIA attributes, etc.) before it reaches the live site.
  • Automated runtime scanning: @axe-core/react runs automatically in our development environment and reports accessibility violations as pages are built.
  • Automated page scans: we maintain a pa11y-ci configuration that scans our key page templates against the WCAG2AA ruleset. This is currently run manually by our development team rather than on every deployment — wiring it into automatic checks on every change is a planned improvement.
  • Manual review: we periodically test keyboard-only navigation and screen readers (VoiceOver and NVDA) across key user journeys, including the homepage, practice areas, team profiles, insights, careers, and the contact form.

This is an ongoing programme, not a one-off certification — we have not commissioned an independent third-party WCAG audit of this site.

3. What We've Implemented

  • A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every page for keyboard users.
  • Semantic page structure with landmark regions and a logical heading hierarchy.
  • Keyboard-operable navigation, including the practice areas mega menu and mobile menu, with aria-expanded/aria-haspopup state announced to assistive technology.
  • Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
  • Animations and background effects (the homepage hero carousel and gradient patterns) respect your operating system's "reduce motion" preference.
  • Light and dark colour themes, matching your system preference.
  • Editorial guidelines requiring meaningful alternative text on all content images managed through our content management system.

4. Known Limitations

  • Some interactive components have not yet had a full manual screen-reader walkthrough — this is being worked through as part of our ongoing review process rather than all at once.
  • Automated accessibility scanning (pa11y-ci) is not yet wired into our deployment pipeline, so it does not run automatically on every change.
  • As with most websites, some third-party embedded content (for example, the Google Maps embed on our Contact page) is outside our direct control and follows its own provider's accessibility standards rather than ours.

If you find any part of this website difficult to use, please let us know using the details below — we treat every report seriously and will work to fix it.

5. Reporting an Accessibility Problem

If you experience any difficulty accessing information or using any part of this website, please contact us or email enquiries@lloydspr.com. Please tell us:

  • The page you were trying to use
  • What device, browser, and (if applicable) assistive technology you were using
  • What happened, and what you expected to happen

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 working days.

6. Enforcement

Under the Equality Act 2010, service providers are required to make reasonable adjustments so that disabled people are not put at a substantial disadvantage. If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility issue, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) for advice.

7. Changes to This Statement

We review and update this statement as our accessibility work progresses. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
