Isabel is a Solicitor in the Magistrates' Court and Police Station Department at Lloyds PR Solicitors, representing clients at every stage of the criminal justice process. She provides pragmatic and strategic advice across a broad range of criminal matters, from police station investigations through to proceedings in the Magistrates' Court. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Isabel completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law, Bloomsbury, achieving a Distinction. During her studies, she was also actively involved in a number of pro bono initiatives. Isabel also holds an LLB from Newcastle University, graduating with a 2:1. As a qualified Police Station Representative, Isabel regularly advises and represents clients under investigation for a wide range of offences. She joined Lloyds PR Solicitors in August 2024 and is currently progressing towards qualification as a Duty Solicitor. Since joining the firm, Isabel has developed substantial experience in criminal defence work, representing clients accused of offences including assault, burglary, driving offences, fraud, harassment, drug offences, and sexual offences. She has a particular interest in youth justice and recognises the significant and often long-term impact that criminal proceedings can have on young people. Isabel has successfully made representations on behalf of youths facing serious drug allegations, vulnerable individuals identified as potential victims of modern slavery, and clients whose fitness to plead has been brought into question following psychiatric assessment. She has also recently achieved notable success in quasi-criminal proceedings, successfully challenging a cash detention application and securing the return of the detained funds to the client. Adopting a client-centred approach, Isabel understands that criminal allegations can be overwhelming regardless of their nature or severity. She provides undivided attention to all her cases, working to secure the best possible outcome for every client.
